I want to wish you and your families and friends a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope the upcoming holidays bring much need happiness, joy, and a refreshed New Year for you all! Time has flown since our last quarterly session, and our next one is upcoming in January. I have been extremely busy as expected preparing for the holidays and spending the season with family and friends and I’m sure you all have too. Our next C.O.C newsletter is expected to arrive in your inboxes before the Christmas Holiday along with an E-vite for our January session and the much anticipated book reviews for our recently read novels. I apologize for the delay of information and materials and will get these out soon.
I encourage you all to pick up our current novel Getting to Happy by Terri McMillan in order to complete by our January session. The tentative date is January 14th, but a final invitation will be sent with all details. If we can all work with each other on sharing, borrowing or purchasing the novel from one another its encouraged. Thank you all once again for your continued support and participation in making this a successful book club!\
For all new members- yournew member welcome materials will be sent out via email ASAP to get you started and introduced to our bookclub. I do encourage you all to pick up our current novel also- but regardless, will be invited to attend our session in exception due to the nature of new membership.
